Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field OR 4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements
• Experience building a culture of safety among subordinates and peers

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety practices are understood and followed by all associates through observations and discussions
• Identify and resolve safety issues on the floor
• Determine daily workload and monitor inventory flow
• Expedite receiving, picking and shipping of priority product to customers
• Train associates on equipment and document proficiency
• Lead shift briefing and turnover documentation
• Collaborate with other shifts to ensure consistent processes
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members
