Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Cleaner for 1st shift in Burbank, CA. The role involves performing various custodial duties under supervision, including floor care, restroom servicing, window washing, and daily trash removal.

The ideal candidate will follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and be able to use cleaning tools and equipment. This position offers a stable work schedule and the opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe environment for building occupants.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner - back pack style
• Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high energy and endurance

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs.
• Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors and partitions, and entry doors glass.
• Wash/spot clean interior walls; clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Monitor defects (clogged urinals, lights out) and report to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated collection area.
• Replace liners in waste baskets per specs.
• Sweep or shovel snow at entrances and walkways as directed.
• Perform high dusting, leather/wood polishing, and wall washing as needed.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned
