Tessera is seeking a Janitor for the Lakewood, Washington area (Joint Base Lewis-McChord) to join a full-time day shift. The role is non-exempt with a 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

schedule and a pay rate of $23.51 per hour. Comprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to safety and diversity are included for eligible employees. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and cross-contamination control across a federal facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain stamina to perform assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Work with a teammate on assigned route across Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
• Follow cleaning schedules for restrooms, offices, hallways, entrances and high-traffic areas.
• Restock supplies, replace trash liners, and maintain organized janitorial closets/lockers.
• Adhere to cross-contamination procedures and safety requirements.
