Job summary

Tessera is hiring a part-time, on-call Janitor to support sites across Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Lakewood, Washington. Availability for both day and swing shifts is required, with shifts including Day 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Swing 4:00 p.m.

- 12:30 a.m. Compensation is $23.51/hr plus shift differential for swing. Medical and life insurance available for eligible employees, along with paid holidays, vacation accrual, tuition assistance, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Paid on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies.
• Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
• Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
• Entrances and Exits Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule.
• Trash - Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule.
• Supply Restocking - restock supplies according to schedule.
• Dusting - dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule.
• Stairwell Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule.
• Shower Cleaning - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures
• Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker - keep clean and organized.
