Job summary

Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is hiring friendly Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. You’ll help ensure tenants, guests and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe place to live or work.

The role requires standing for long periods, cleaning experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and teamwork or independence. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Must lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and washing/drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages and needed repairs.
• Assisting building management with projects and other duties as requested.
