Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center in Salina is seeking a Custodian to clean offices, classrooms and labs, perform room setups for meetings, and handle basic repairs. The role includes inventory management, after-hours on-call potential, and following cleaning protocols.

Hours are 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds. Starting pay is in the posted range with benefits from day one. Regular full-time, hourly position in the SOM Salina Administration department.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or custodial operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices, meeting rooms, restrooms and common areas; dust, vacuum, mop, and restock supplies.
• Set up rooms for meetings and events; move furniture and hang items as requested.
• Perform minor repairs and paint prep; handle basic maintenance tasks as assigned.
