Job summary

Responsibilities

• 40% - Office, Classroom and Facilities Maintenance: vacuuming, bonnets and extracts carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals. Empties trash, cleans furniture and surfaces, and dusts fixtures across offices and classrooms.
• 15% - Hallways, Stairways, Elevators, Entrances and Exteriors: dust mops, scrubs and burnishes surfaces; wash windows and clean entryways; report safety issues.
• 15% - Floor Maintenance: strips floors, scrubs and burnishes, maintains various floor types with appropriate machinery.
• 15% - Restroom/Shower Cleaning: disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals; refills supplies; ensures cleanliness per schedule.
• 5% - Supplies, Chemical and Equipment Maintenance: maintains tools, reports malfunctions, follows chemical safety procedures.
• 5% - Other Related Work: assist with events, emergencies, snow removal, and building access as needed.
