Job summary

Lovelace Medical Center is seeking a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Albuquerque, NM. You will work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to provide therapy services to patients with various impairments, ensuring compliance and patient safety.

Eligible candidates may receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Required: Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant, NM licensure or licensure-eligible, and BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
