Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapy- B Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You will provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT and help patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, or emotional needs.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and NM licensure may be required. Required is an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant, NM licensure or eligibility, and BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• One year of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
