Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Albuquerque, NM. You’ll assist in therapy services, contributing to patient care alongside licensed therapists.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant, NM licensure-eligible status, and a BLS certification within 14 days of hire. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• One (1) year of related experience.
