Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapy-B Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and help deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Under supervision of a licensed OT, you will provide therapy to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and emotional impairments, while adhering to facility policies and safety standards to support overall rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Education
