Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM seeks a day shift, full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient/outpatient team.

You will provide therapy under licensed OT supervision, focusing on developmental, physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. NM licensure or eligibility and BLS within 14 days required; one year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
