Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense Services is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to perform basic cleaning duties across assigned areas, including mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic spaces with safety in mind.

Shift times are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM. A minimum of 2 years of related experience and a High School Diploma are required; additional certifications are a plus. This on-site role offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or similar field preferred.
• Any relevant certifications in maintenance or safety are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas as designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop floors in storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely and securely.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and procedures; exercise limited discretion.
