Job summary

CBRE - Government & Defense seeks a Commercial Cleaner to perform basic cleaning duties in a high‑traffic government facility. Responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and ensuring overall cleanliness as directed by the supervisor.

Education: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 2 years in facilities or custodial work preferred. Shift: First, 6am–2:30pm, with benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in custodial, facilities, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high‑traffic areas as designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, and elevators.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Keep cleaning supplies in a safe, secure area at all times.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend regular staff meetings and required in‑service training.
• Follow basic work routines and standard procedures; use established methods.
