Job summary

CBRE Government & Defense seeks a Commercial Cleaner to perform basic cleaning duties across assigned areas in a professional facility environment. Responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness per company standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and about 2 years of related experience. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods. Temporary employment with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are kept in a safe, secure area at all times.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend regular staff meetings and required trainings.
• Follow basic work routines and apply procedures to solve straightforward problems.
