Job summary

Good Samaritan Sanford Health - Sioux Falls Center is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant for full-time evening shifts (2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.). 40 hours/week with every other weekend. Active CNA certification and LTC experience preferred. Eligible for a $2,500 bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The NA delivers resident-centered care, assists with daily living activities, and supports the nursing team under an RN supervision, while upholding infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; CNA/clinical experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Annual competency testing and at least 12 hours CE per year.
• Restorative Nursing training may be required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, vital signs, and personal care needs.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Support restorative nursing programs and participate in activities as needed.
