• Work with the registered nurse to support safe patient care.
• Communicate appropriately and carry out delegated tasks under supervision.
• Document data and report observations to the registered nurse.
• Observe safety precautions, respond to call lights, and ensure patient safety.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs.
• Monitor patients and report changes during shifts.
• Document observations and interventions in the medical record.
• Assist with mobility, bathing, dressing, eating and ADLs.
• Provide basic transport and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Participate in hourly rounding and bedside shift reports.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties and may assist with clerical tasks.
• Maintain unit records and stock routine supplies.
