You will assist with meals, mobility, weight tracking, skin checks, and documenting progress, while upholding policies and care plans. The position requires a Michigan CNA in good standing and CPR/BLS certification, with vaccination requirements noted.

Qualifications

• High school level education or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with Michigan or completed State-approved training with certification within 4 months.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living according to care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services at meals, including set-up, delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake; tracks weight changes.
• Reports skin condition, pressure areas, or skin breakdown to nurse and supervisor.
• Assists with toileting program activities and documents progress daily.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

CNA in MI in good standing / State-approved training with 4-month certification window

Current CPR/BLS certification
