Job summary
Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan is seeking a Nursing Assistant advancing to Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time day-shift role with a $3,000 sign-on. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Completion of the free Certified Nurse Aide course within 4 months of hire date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents (bathing, grooming, dressing).
- Help residents move safely (walking, transfers, positioning).
- Be the friendly, welcoming face and engage with residents.
- Take vital signs, report changes in condition, and keep detailed records (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in rooms and common areas.
- Assist with meal service, laundry, and other tasks to keep the community running smoothly.
- Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights.
- Respect resident privacy and dignity in all actions.
