Job summary

Munson Healthcare, northern Michigan’s largest healthcare system, is seeking a Long Term Care Certified Nursing Assistant for the Night Shift. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and supporting nursing staff on the night shift at our Gaylord location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State of Michigan, or complete state-approved training with certification within 4 months of hire.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to residents and assist nursing staff as assigned.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transfers.
• Coordinate dining services, meal tray delivery, and nourishment intake documentation.
• Document intake and weights; report changes to the nurse.
• Monitor skin condition and report issues to the nurse and supervisor.
