Job summary

Nye Health Services is seeking a Part-Time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and compassionate care in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. The role follows a daytime schedule with Wednesday hours and alternating weekend shifts, offering meaningful resident interaction and teamwork with licensed staff.

The ideal candidate brings Nebraska CMA certification, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Current 40-hour CMA certification in Nebraska.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents per state regulations and policies.
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns to the licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration accurately in residents’ medical records.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (meals, mobility, personal care).
• Build relationships with residents and provide emotional support, especially in Memory Care.
• Communicate with nursing staff, residents, and families about care needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
