Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Arcadia, WI is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist for cGMP manufacturing. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines and facility systems, while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical/electrical faults from schematics and repairing components. Training, a 12-hour schedule rotation, and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on maintenance experience and ability to read schematics or manuals.
• Experience with GMP biotech/pharmaceutical/food environments is a plus.
• Willingness to undergo training/orientation Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM for 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate preventive and corrective maintenance for production lines, facility systems, and wastewater treatment plant in alignment with KPIs, cGMPs, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, repair/rebuild, and service pumps and pumping systems, pneumatic controls, valves, agitators/seals, and motor bearings.
• Operate and maintain utilities: HVAC units, hot water pumps, motors, electrical panels, sensors, boilers, compressors, and substations.
• Fabricate/repair components using machine shop tools (drill press, grinder, milling machine, welders).
• Overhaul/install new equipment to improve reliability and throughput.
