Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Edmond, OK is hiring a Day shift, Fulltime Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to support the surgical team in a busy hospital setting. The role emphasizes sterile technique, instrument handling, and teamwork with licensed staff; sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available.

You will assist in maintaining the sterile field, prepare rooms, count instruments, and transport supplies in collaboration with the circulator.

Qualifications

• BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 60 days of hire
• NCCT-TS-C (Tech in Surgery-Certified) OR AST-CST (Certified Surgical Tech)
• May consider a non-certified tech that has completed a surgical technology program or has at least 1 year of scrub experience

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining the sterile field under supervision.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the procedure and supports surgical team needs.
• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Scrubs, gowns, and gloves appropriately.
• Sets up sterile tables with instruments and supplies under guidance.
• Performs instrument and sponge counts with the circulator.
• Passes instruments during surgery.
• Aids in cleaning and preparing instruments for sterilization.
• Supports terminal cleaning of rooms and preparation for the next procedure.
• May retrieve and transport medications (no preparation or administration).
