Community Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Full Time Surgical Tech to join our perioperative team. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates and the role requires maintaining a sterile field and assisting surgeons and RN during procedures.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology preferred.
• AHA BLS healthcare required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform the scrub role and assist with all aspects of the care of the surgical patient according to policy and procedure and care standards.
• Maintain a safe sterile environment, preparing, passing, holding, inserting, removing, cleaning and assembling instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Count sponges, needles, sharps and instruments; assist the RN with delegated circulating duties, transporting, positioning, skin preps and specimen preparation.
• Always work as a team member within the entire facility and follow hospital policies.
