Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, CO is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a full-time day shift. You will assist surgeons, prepare rooms, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include pre-assembly of instruments, coordination with the circulating nurse, and adherence to regulatory standards. A minimum of 1 year OR CST experience is preferred; BLS and CST certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred; Surgical Technology program completed.
• BL S? Certification remains required (see Licenses section).
• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and informs the circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintains high standards to support cost savings and containment.
• Assembles supplies, equipment, and medications before procedures; supports relationships with staff and physicians.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects breaks immediately.
• Other duties as assigned.
