Job summary

Executive Home Care in Iowa is seeking a compassionate, reliable in-home caregiver to support seniors with daily living tasks, prioritizing dignity, safety and comfort.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, support mobility and transportation, and help clients follow care plans. Experience in healthcare isn’t required—training is provided, with flexible part-time morning/day shifts and a competitive starting wage.

Qualifications

• Compassion, reliability, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle client needs with patience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
• CNA/HHA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Provide medication reminders and follow care plans.
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments when required.
• Monitor client condition and report any changes to family or supervisors.
