Visiting Angels of Missouri City is hiring for Day Shift Caregivers to serve clients across the local area including Missouri City, Bellaire, Sienna Plantation, Sugarland, and Katy. As a Day Shift Caregiver, you will support clients with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship while following personalized care plans and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving, home health, or CNA experience.
Valid Driver's License is required.
Reliable personal vehicle with active auto insurance.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
Assist with light exercise or walks.
Plan and prepare meals with clients.
Perform light housekeeping tasks.
Report health changes or incidents promptly.
Provide friendly companionship and support.
Respond quickly in emergencies.
Accompany clients during shopping trips and appointments.

As a Visiting Angels Day Shift Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
Planning and preparing meals with clients
Handling light housekeeping duties
Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Visiting Angels offers opportunities for advanced training in areas like dementia care and/or Alzheimer’s care for caregivers seeking to broaden their skills.

Day Shift Caregiver Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving, home health, or CNA experience
