Visiting Angels of Missouri City seeks a Part Time Caregiver to support clients across the local area, including Missouri City, Bellaire, Sienna Plantation, Sugarland, Katy, and more. You will provide compassionate in-home care to help seniors stay independent and comfortable at home.

This part-time role offers flexible shifts, opportunities for growth, and competitive pay. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and 2+ years of caregiving experience are required to join our devoted team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving, home health, or CNA experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Willingness and ability to transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Reliable attendance and dependability are required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with shopping and groceries, or shop for them.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients.
• Assist with mobility and doctor visits and accompany clients on walks.

A Visiting Angels Part Time Caregiver wears many hats as they help our elderly and home-care clients stay at home or recover at home with dignity.

While no two client visits look exactly alike, responsibilities may include:

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene
• Managing light housekeeping
• Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals
• Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times
• Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries (or shopping for them)
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients (based on client ability)
• Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation - this can include everything from getting around the house to visiting the doctor and taking walks

A Part Time Caregiver must also be prepared to act quickly in the case of medical emergencies. This includes adequately reporting any health changes or unusual circumstances. Our caregivers possess the ideal blend of competency, compassion, and professional discernment.

Part Time Caregiver Job Requirements
