Job summary

Visiting Angels of Missouri City is hiring an At Home Caregiver to serve clients in the local area including Missouri City and surrounding communities. This role offers flexible schedules, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for advanced training in areas like dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

You will provide personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship while following client care plans. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving, home health, or CNA experience
• Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Provide mobility support and accompany clients during appointments/errands
• Plan and prepare meals with clients and assist with light housekeeping
• Report health changes or unusual incidents to supervisors
• Offer companionship and respond quickly in emergencies
• Support clients during shopping trips and manage medications as directed

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
