Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a CVOR/OR RN for full-time day shift. You will provide direct patient care across the surgical spectrum, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and contribute to equipment readiness and pain management inventory.

Qualifications include NV RN license, 1 year OR experience, ACLS & BLS, with a comprehensive benefits package and a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Current NV RN license.
• At least one year experience in the Operating Room.
• Current ACLS & BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates bedside report using IMAP & SBAR and coordinates with patient present in room.
• Takes actions and documents responses to anxiety or distress; involve Social Services when appropriate.
• Provides patient explanations and verbal reassurances consistently.
• Develops an individualized plan of care and evaluates its effectiveness.
• Identifies signs and changes in patient condition and acts promptly.
