Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a skilled Automation & Controls Engineer to maintain, improve, and support automation systems on industrial manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose issues, optimize processes, and lead control-system projects in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and electrical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience focused on control system development, installation, troubleshooting, and automation support.
  • Experience with PLC hardware and networked control systems.
  • Proficient with multimeters and electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, install, program, troubleshoot automation and control systems (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs).
  • Diagnose and resolve control system failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Provide first-line technical support for automation-related production issues.
  • Lead automation projects and train maintenance/engineering staff.
