Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp in Elyria, OH is hiring for an Assembly/Test Technician on the day shift. The position pays an hourly rate starting at $19.00 and includes a $1,000 signing bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Assembles and tests moderate to complex products, reads blueprints, and participates in lean initiatives to improve productivity while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. HS diploma or GED required; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year assembly and test experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, routes, and test specs.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and use of hand/power tools.
• Willingness to train others and participate in lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderate assembly/test and overhaul/repair functions using tools and test equipment.
• Records test results on data forms and uses measurement devices.
• Interprets blueprints, orders, and test specifications to ensure conformance.
• Assembles and inspects products to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and participates in lean initiatives.
