Job summary

HeartShare seeks an Assistant Program Director of Day Services to lead the Day Habilitation Program in partnership with the Program Director. You’ll supervise staff, ensure quality programming, and uphold health, safety, and rights of participants in center-based and community settings.

Responsibilities include oversight of documentation, incident follow-ups, staff training, and regulatory compliance. A Bachelor’s degree and several years of supervisory experience with individuals with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in health, human services, special education, or related field.
• Two years of managerial/supervisory experience required.
• Five+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership of the Day Services Program with the Program Director.
• Ensure quality programming meeting the needs of individuals.
• Safeguard health, safety, rights, and well-being of participants.
• Oversee facility maintenance and safe vehicle use.
• Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and HeartShare policies.
• Participate in hiring and staff orientation.
