Job summary

Aspire Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Services seeks an Instructor I- SSS011 to support individuals in Day Services. This Full Time, Non-Exempt position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in the Terrell / Lee location, performing safety, supervision, documentation, and direct care tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one year experience in social or direct care services.
• Associate degree in a related field.
• One year experience at the lower level or position equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, drive, and maintain valid auto insurance.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills; able to use a computer; Crisis Intervention training.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and daily living support.
• Supervise individuals with I/DD services within ISP goals.
• Document progress and maintain records.
• Engage individuals in routine activities and training.
• Conduct daily housekeeping chores and report facility repairs.
