Job summary

Skyland Trail is seeking a master’s level mental health clinician to join the Day Services Director team at West Campus in Atlanta. You will supervise clinical staff, develop programs, and ensure quality care across CBT and DBT recovery communities on the adult campus.

The role requires a full license in good standing, strong leadership, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. You will guide staff, manage schedules, and contribute to continuous quality improvements in a nonprofit

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in related field (i.e., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.) and two (2) + years clinical experience in mental health field.
• Full licensure in Mental Health field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to Assistant Directors and coaching and training to clinical staff within the CBT and DBT recovery teams.
• Develop a productive environment by encouraging cooperation and collaboration within the team.
• Complete hiring and training of day treatment staff with the assistance of the Assistant Directors.
• Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, evaluate the day treatment program and group schedule’s effectiveness and institute revisions as necessary.
• Provide supervision to the Coverage Primary Counselors who support the clinical team by providing individual and group coverage.
• Work with the Chief Clinical Officer and West campus psychiatrists to provide leadership to the DBT and CBT recovery teams; address trends and staff development.
• Supervise and provide logistical assistance for CPT and RO-DBT programs.
• Participate in facility quality improvement projects, including audits and quality assurance.
• Ensure clinical documentation is completed and active in the medical record within parameters.
• Attend DBT and CBT consultation meetings and provide education as needed.
