Job summary

AHRC Nassau is seeking a daytime supervisor to oversee volunteers and staff at the day hab site, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with agency policies. The role includes supervising Lead HSAs/HSAs, coordinating activities, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include implementing services, developing staff action plans, protecting patient information, ensuring safety, and reporting to program supervisors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred.
• Minimum one year experience supporting people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daytime management, care, and supervision of residents and staff.
• Implement service activities and adhere to agency policies and standards.
• Ensure health and safety, maintain records, and report essential information to supervisors.
