AHRC Nassau is seeking a dedicated individual to manage the support of a volunteer within the Day Program. Responsibilities include implementing plans to enhance independence, documenting progress, and effectively managing behavioral needs. The role requires strong communication skills and experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Candidates should possess a High School Diploma and be proficient in behavioral management techniques. A valid NYS driver’s license is required. The position is essential for fostering independence and ensuring the safety of the program volunteer.

Formación

• Six months experience supporting people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Proficient in verbal, written, and reading skills.
• Will complete advanced training upon request.

Responsabilidades

• Manage behavior and clinical needs of one volunteer.
• Document observations and progress in the volunteer's record book.
• Report changes in volunteer's behavior to the Site Manager.
