Job summary

BDP Bristol Drugs Project is recruiting a Day Programme and Diversionary Worker for Horizons Bristol. This full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a pro rata salary starting at £30,011.95 per annum.

Based in Bristol, the post is part of Horizons Bristol in partnership with Turning Point and other local providers to support people affected by drug and alcohol use. You will deliver structured group programmes and psychosocial interventions, working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure

Responsibilities

• Provide structured and diversionary interventions to people with mental health difficulties, long-term physical conditions, criminal justice experience, homelessness or related needs.
• Offer psychosocial interventions around wellbeing, relationships, safeguarding, family work and life skills.
• Conduct risk assessments and form risk management, safeguarding and recovery plans for service users.
