Job summary

The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence is seeking a frontline supervisor for Direct Support Professional staff in the day habilitation program. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliant service delivery and staff performance, while maintaining active involvement with Persons We Support.

You will work under the Habilitation Program Coordinator, supervise staff, and ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance in a professional clinic setting within the assigned county.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree and one-year experience working with the developmentally disabled preferred; or a high school diploma or equivalency and two years’ experience working with the developmentally disabled required.
• Valid NYS drivers’ license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the frontline supervisor to Direct Support Professional staff working in assigned program area.
• Provide daily supervision and responsible for the daily operation of the day program site, under the direction of the Habilitation Program Coordinator.
• Spend a majority of working hours in direct contact with Persons We Support.
• Assist in training and support of Direct Support Professional staff under the direction of the Habilitation Program Coordinator.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the support team and family contacts.
