Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Day Program Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in a structured daytime setting. You will lead engaging activities, help participants build independence, and promote community inclusion across transportation and community outings.

Responsibilities include implementing individual service plans, ensuring safety, and documenting daily progress. Training provided for personal care and medication administration, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming.
• Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills.
• Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided).
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement.
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely.
• Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports.
• Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings.
