Job summary

Vesta, Inc. is seeking a Day Program (PRP) Counselor in Arnold, MD to support adults with severe mental illness in a community-based day program. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm and requires a valid driver's license to operate a 15-passenger van.

You will coordinate activities, facilitate rehabilitation groups, provide case management, document using an eHR system, and transport participants as needed. Pre-employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in mental health field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 15-passenger van.
• Experience providing skills training in day program or residential settings.
• Experience using an electronic health record (eHR) system for documentation.

We're currently seeking a compassionate individual to join our team in the Severn Region's, Arnold, MD'sDay Program (PRP) location. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in coordinating activities, facilitating rehabilitation groups, and providing case management for adult consumers attending our day program.

Compensation and Benefits:Pay Range: $20.56/hour - $23.02/hour, paid bi-weekly, with opportunities for overtime. Salary calculated based on education and experience.Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training.PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro‑rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro‑rated based on start date and hours worked).Holidays: Full-Time employees receive 8 paid holidays per year, with overtime if required to work.
