Vesta, Inc. is seeking a Residential Counselor for the Arnold, MD area to join our Severn Region's Arnold Residential Program. The role supports individuals with severe mental illness, coordinating care, meals, housing activities, grooming, and medication monitoring.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, offering benefits, overtime opportunities, and a chance to make a meaningful impact in a not-for-profit behavioral health organization.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive a 15-passenger van with a valid license.
• Experience using eHR for daily notes.
• Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of mental health experience.
• Experience providing skills training in residential or day programs.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

We're currently seeking a passionate individual to join our Severn Region's Arnold Residential Program.

As a Residential Counselor, you'll play a vital role in assisting individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness. Your responsibilities will include coordinating client care and daily activities, such as meal preparation, household chores, grooming, and medication monitoring. You'll provide essential oversight in our residential homes, working closely with senior clients who have various diagnoses and behavior disorders, alongside somatic care needs.

Position Details:

• Hours: Mon - Friday, 3:00pm - 11pm.
• Location: Arnold, MD

Qualifications:

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Range: $20.56/hour - $23.02/hour, paid bi-weekly, with opportunities for overtime. Salary calculated based on education and experience.
• Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training.
• PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked).
• Holidays: Full-Time employees receive 8 paid holidays per year, with overtime if required to work. Part-Time employees are eligible for overtime if required to work on holidays.
• Retirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.
