Job summary

Vinfen, a nonprofit health and human services organization, seeks a program leader to oversee daily operations of a day program. You will direct staff, manage ISP and clinical plans, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, coordinating transportation, and liaising with case managers, families, and funding sources. Driving and crisis intervention may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in human services.
• High school diploma or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage program staff and relief staff; hire, schedule, train, and evaluate.
• Oversee daily management; develop and review ISP and clinical plans, coordinate transportation, monitor budget.
• Ensure resources are used fiscally; monitor expenditures within parameters set by the Program Director.
• Manage program site; ensure safety, vehicle upkeep, and regulatory compliance as Safety Officer.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external licensing and accreditation standards and policies.
• Maintain open communication with the Program Director, case managers, service coordinators, and providers.
• Attend case conferences and meetings with funding sources.
• Schedule staff and relief coverage to meet program needs.
• Complete comprehensive assessments for persons served; monitor daily activities.
• Ensure ISP processes are followed; train staff on clinical programs; liaise between residential and day programs.
• Oversee training and meetings; facilitate consumer training; promote family involvement.
• Provide outreach to foster relationships with family, friends, and community resources.
• Serve as a resource to staff, families, and providers; ensure reporting accuracy (SDRs, Risk Management, incidents).
• May provide crisis intervention and direct care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Community Support Skills Standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
