Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Day Program Specialist to assess, develop, and implement programming for participants, including job readiness, independence, education, training needs, and support needs. You will work on individualized development plans, document progress, and collaborate with families and staff to promote community integration and daily living skills.

This role requires at least two years of college or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, and

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• First aid/CPR and Medication Management certifications.
• Experience in human services or recreational field.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, and implement programs for participants.
• Maintain client files per CARF and contract requirements.
• Provide direct support and create person-centered plans.
• Attend interdisciplinary staffing meetings and coordinate with families.
• Develop community resources for communication, socialization, daily living.
• Maintain vehicle and van logs; complete safety training.
• Engage in project work and change management.
• Resolve problems and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Represent Goodwill in the community.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
