Lifesteps, Inc. in Beaver, PA, is seeking a Full-Time Day Program Instructor to support individuals with diverse needs in a community-based setting.

This entry-level role works weekdays 7:30 to 3:30, assisting the Senior Supervisor in carrying out activities while monitoring client safety and progress. You will help maintain a respectful, engaging environment and document observations; ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CPI/CPR readiness, and a willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPI certification required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred or within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel for business.

Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Day Program Instructor in the Beaver area.

Position Summary:

An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

This full-time position works Monday through Friday 7:30 to 3:30 with weekends off!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
• First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire date.
• Current driver’s license with the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.

Preferred:

• One-year experience working with individuals in human services field.
• Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE).
• Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP).
• Associates Degree and six months to one-year experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
