Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a Day Program Support Staff member to join our Day Program team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves assisting with client schedules, ensuring safety during activities, and supporting personal hygiene needs as required.

The Instructional Support Staff will also help maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation, following company policies and infection control guidelines, and will document clients' progress toward their goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience working with the population served.
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
• Reliable and safe transportation, with current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Client Transportation: Drive participants to and from the facility safely, ensuring all transportation safety protocols are followed.
• Instructional Support: Provide tailored, individualized support to participants during group and individual instructional activities.
• Safety & Supervision: Monitor client safety continuously during classroom activities, community outings, and transitions throughout the daily schedule.
• Daily Living Assistance: Support personal hygiene and self-care activities as needed to help clients master daily living tasks.
• Facility Care & Compliance: Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility in strict accordance with licensure guidelines, company policies, and infection control standards.
• Goal Documentation: Implement, track, and document clients' progress toward goals and objectives outlined in their person-centered treatment plans.
