Job summary

Community Support Services in Neosho, MO is hiring a Day Program Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered, hands-on support to individuals with developmental or physical disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, meal prep, medications administration, transportation, personal care, and companionship, helping each member live a life defined by their potential.

Key duties include implementing ISP/BSP plans, maintaining respectful, open communication with supervisors

Qualifications

• Confidence in interaction with individuals of all ages and with a variety of disabilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to work independently and within a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Review and implement ISP and BSP per individual plan.
• Provide support with dignity and person-centered care.
• Monitor physical and emotional health of individuals served.
• Follow agency policies for all care areas.
• Submit documentation by deadlines.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors and stakeholders.
• Attend required trainings and follow staffing rotations.
