Redwood Family Care Network seeks a Day Program Instructor Caregiver in West Covina, CA. You will help adults with developmental disabilities build skills, independence, and meaningful daily routines within a Day Program setting.

You will lead activities based on IPP plans, assist with self-care, meals, and community participation, and document progress. This role emphasizes safety, compassion, and teamwork in an in-person site.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings (background check, etc.).
• Preferred: CPI certification, DSP Year 1 & Year 2 Certificates, First Aid/ CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily activity routines based on each client’s IPP.
• Assist with personal care and bathroom needs; help with clothing when needed.
• Prepare meals and participate in cleanup.
• Support clients in daily living, vocational, recreational, and community activities.
• Provide transportation in company vans as needed.
• Participate in client assessments, planning, and evaluation.
• Enter client notes into computer systems and review IPP goals.
• Communicate progress with supervisors.
