Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain common areas of office buildings, apartments, or other commercial facilities in clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, trash removal, restroom checks, and lobby maintenance.

The role involves polishing surfaces, vacuuming, and reporting lights or issues to Management. This on-site position supports building engineers and daily operations at client sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Attendance/Punctuality: Is consistently at work and on time.

• Safety and Security: Follows safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor.
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily.
• Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed.
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed.
• Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed.
• Sweep building entrances.
• Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering.
