Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain the common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial properties in clean and orderly condition. You will perform routine cleaning tasks and report maintenance needs to the Management Office.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobby glass doors, vacuuming elevator cabs, dusting and wiping surfaces, emptying trash, and assisting building engineers as needed.

• Maintain the common areas of office buildings and other commercial or institutional spaces in clean, orderly condition.
• Spot clean lobby areas, wipe doors and surfaces, vacuum floors, and empty trash receptacles as part of daily duties.
• Assist building engineers and report safety or maintenance issues to management.
• Uphold safety procedures and follow directions from supervisors to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
